New Game Project: Ice Cave

I am working on a new game in Flash, and it will be called "Ice Cave". What is this game about? Penguins! This game has a unique concept. It woudn't fit in a particular genre. It takes up elements from various genres including RPG, Puzzle, Adventure and Strategy.
The Plot:
  • You play as a penguin. You enter a cave called "Ice Cave" which is famous for the best fishes in the entire Antarctica. But as soon as you enter the cave, the entrance gets sealed by the snowslide. Your main objective is to find another way out of the cave, along with the others you find inside the cave.
The Characters:
  • P, the Penguin. I'm calling the penguin P, because it is named by the user. Abilities include: swimming, fishing, pushing small objects, etc.
  • Chiko, the little penguin. Abilities include: entering/exiting small openings, running, etc. This penguin moves on its all fours. (if you have a better name, please suggest it =])
  • Gobble, the fat wobbly penguin. Abilities include: picking and pushing heavy objects, etc.
  • Ruby, an Antarctic bird who is trapped in the ice. Abilities include: flying across waters, etc.
  • Warlord, a walrus. Details about Warlord are given in the next section.
Features:
  • You start the game with one character - P, the Penguin. As the game progresses, you control more characters, all at the same time, and you can switch the leader. You can also choose to ask the other characters to not follow you. But to progress, you must not leave any character far behind.
  • You can slide on ice. When you slide on ice (on your tummy), you can move only in one direction, and cannot control the character until he has reached the other end. This part of the game works like a sliding block puzzle game. There are cracks at various places on the floor, which when stepped on turn into a hole. If you step again, you fall down to a lower floor, and you must find a way to go back up again. Only the penguins can slide on the snow, including P, Chiko and Gobble.
  • This game involves using various items, switches, etc and dragging and pushing blocks, up, down, back and forth. You can walk on the snow, and slide on ice.
  • After playing the game for about 3-4 minutes, P encounters Chiko - the cute little penguin who walks (bounces, to be precise) on its fours. Quite similar to Mudkip in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Chiko is being driven away by water current, and would soon drown. P must swim (underwater) and rescue Chiko. You can surface and unsurface while in water. However you cannot move or swim while surfaced, unless there is land around.
  • Chiko joins the team, and would be following P all the time. You can choose to ask Chiko not to follow, but to progress you must not leave him behind. You can switch characters and bring Chiko individually.
  • Chiko is small in size, so he can enter small caverns P cannot enter. This is especially useful for secret switches, items and bonuses.
  • After a gameplay of around 10-15 minutes, P encounters Gobble. He is a big fat wobbly penguin who is stuck in the ice. To rescue him P must find switches that drop ice stalagmites to break the ice Gobble is stuck in. After he is rescued, he joins the team.
  • Gobble has the ability of pushing and pulling large objects, like logs of wood. He helps clear the obstructions in the way.
  • After around 20 minutes of gameplay, P meets Ruby - the bird. The bird has its own objectives, since it can fly over waters and ice.
  • The team finally reaches the exit, but what! It is blocked by Warlord - the walrus. His demands must be met before he lets the team go through. His demands are - get him 20 big fishes. Fishes come in 3 sizes - small, medium and big. You must capture 20 big fishes and give it to Warlord.
  • Thats it, end of the game. You exit the cave and credits roll! Play again?
Extra Features
  • Darkness - some parts of the cave are dark. You must find and enlighten a lamp to get through.
  • Language select - the game can be played in English and Spanish.
Thats it for now. Please give your opinion. Thanks.

How to Play Wordblock

Here are the guidelines to play Wordblock. The link to the game can be found here: http://aeonus.com/wordblock/

Basic Instructions:
  • Select adjacent blocks. Adjacent meaning you can select a block from the 8 blocks surrounding it. You can see in the below image how I selected 5 blocks to make "FAIRY".

  • To submit, click the last block once again. In this case, I would click "Y" again to submit.
  • After the word is submitted, the word is checked in the dictionary. If it exists, the blocks get eliminated and the blocks above it slide down. If it doesn't, the blocks you selected get deselected.
  • To deselect all your blocks, click on any non-adjacent block, or on one of the selected blocks except the last block (which will submit the word instead).
Objective
  • To clear a level, you must bring down the "Blocks Left" counter to zero until time runs out. It is displayed on the top right corner.
  • When the "Blocks Left" counter comes down to zero, an "Extra Blocks" counter starts. You can choose to play the same level, and you will get extra score for the extra blocks. Next level will start automatically when the timer runs out. (You get 3 minutes for each level.)
  • Or instead, you can choose to advance to the next level by clicking the "Next Level >" button. You get extra score for advancing, which depends upon time remaining. However it will be lesser than the score you get for playing the same level till time runs out.
Bonus Blocks
  • Bonus blocks add more fun to the game. You get two bonus blocks per level.
Using the Bonus Blocks
  • Include the bonus block when you make a word. A bonus block counts as an empty block. For example in the following image, I selected "BEN" and a bonus block (Replacer). Click the last block selected (in this case, the bonus block) to submit. If the word is valid, the Bonus Block section will show your block and will be put to use immediately.
  • Even though you made a three-letter word, it counts as four-letter due to the bonus block.
Types of Bonus Blocks
  • 01. Stopwatch: Pauses the clock for 30 seconds.
  • 02. Time Bonus: If you make a word, you get extra time 5 times the usual time. For making a 5 letter word, you'd get 5 extra seconds otherwise, but with this block you get 25 seconds. (Lasts for 30 seconds.)
  • 03. Bombs: Once activated, click and destroy 5 blocks of your choice.
  • 04. Replacer: Once activated, click on 5 blocks to replace them with vowels.
  • 05. Score Bonus: If you make a word, you get 5 times the score you'd get otherwise. (Lasts for 30 seconds.)
  • 06. Link Breaker: For 30 seconds, the blocks you select need not be adjacent. The words still have to be meaningful though.
  • 07. TNT: The most useful bonus block. Once activated, simply click a block, and it will destroy the block and all blocks adjacent to it.
  • 08. Void: Once activated, this bonus drops 10 empty blocks.
Using the Empty Blocks
  • In the below example, creating the word "THOU" wouldn't have been possible without the empty blocks. Empty blocks are like bonus blocks, they dont have a letter of their own.
